The Benadir Regional Administration (BRA) is preparing for Covid19 outbreak predicted to take hold by mid-April to May 2020 in Somalia. BRA has established a COVID-19 Task Force and developed a framework to improve public health management, preparedness and response to the virus. The framework supplements the existing BRA 5-year Strategic Plan and prioritizes vulnerable groups that may be more susceptible particularly, internally displaced persons (IDPs) and urban poor.
